Clean Energy Initiative
In 2011, MIG commissioned a 260 kW solar photovoltaic system to supply electricity to our 36,000sf Westborough Facility. At MIG we are concerned about the environment and chose this environmentally sustainable system to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and preserve our global natural resources that would otherwise be consumed by local fossil-fuel power plants.
Our system consists of 1001 Suniva Wp modules which have a total DC capacity of 260,260 watts of power. They are mounted on the roof of our Westborough Building and generate power to one PV Powered PVP260kW inverter with an integrated 98% efficient transformer with field-configurable AC voltage output to provide clean reliable power.
